The Business in the Pacific Rim Course reports:
Our group arrived safe and sound and without glitches in Hong Kong.

The Guam Course reports:
Hafa Adai from Guam! We toured the central east coast of the island today, visiting Latte Stone Park and Plaza de Espana in Agana, along with Two Lovers Point, Agana Bay and the lookout site at the Governor's office complex, overlooking where many of Guam's WWII battles were fought. We learned a lot about the Ancient Chamorro history and the interaction of the Spanish and Japanese cultural influences during each country's occupation of Guam. The weather is gorgeous, with only a few quick scattered showers, just enough to let us cool off from the hot, humid weather. Tomorrow we're going on a jungle river cruise.... More to come!!!!

We have heard from some other courses.

The Australia Ecotourism Course reports:
We have arrived safely.

The China Course reports:
We are safe in China.

The Ghana Course reports:
We arrived in Ghana. We are getting ready to head for Ho, in the Volta region; will be there until Monday evening. Miadogo, Togbe Dake.

The Barbados Course reports:
We arrived safely.

The Italy Fine Arts Course reports:
We arrived safely in Italy.

We finally found an internet place that was working. We spent today at the colliseum and forum and except for getting a little lost around town things seem to be going smoothly. Tarquinia yesterday was a little more of a challenge. The driver dropped us off at the Necropoli saying that the museum was across the street and a short walk down the block. Thirty minutes later we found the museum clear across town. Tomorrow we are going to visit the Vatican.

The Peru Heritage Course reports:
We arrived in Lima safely. We will begin our exploration of Lima city in the morning.

The Hawaii Course reports:
We are safe in Hawaii.
This morning 18 of us gathered at 6:00 am and hiked up Diamond Head to watch the sun rise (see picture). As always, a pretty spectacular way to ring in the new day.

Following sun rise, we boarded a bus and headed to the University of Hawaii - Manoa. At the university we will be learning about Hawaiian history and the realities faced by modern day Hawaiians as they work to reclaim their culture. It will be a great day!

The New Zealand Business Course reports:
We have arrived safely in Auckland with all 30 people. Everything is good.

The South Africa Course reports:
We have safely reached South Africa but unfortunately we do not have access to email so we cannot post to our blog.

The Guatemala Course reports:
All have arrived in Guatemala. There was a mild earthquake in Guatemala, but all of us are ok and it isn’t interfering with business as usual.
