Sophie Adamson, assistant professor of French, and David Neville, director of language learning technologies and assistant professor of German, presented on "Language Instruction to Go: Best Practices for Student-Centered Podcasting in the L2 Classroom" at the 2009 Lilly Conference on College and University Teaching at Greensboro. Lilly Conferences are retreats that combine workshops, discussion sessions, and major addresses, with opportunities for informal discussion about excellence in college and university teaching and learning.

As a service to foreign language faculty at Elon University and other institutions, the Language Media Center provides print- and video-based instructional materials online. These web-based videos and instructional materials will ensure that faculty unable to attend a software training workshop offered by the Language Media Center can still learn about the software at a time and in a manner convenient to them. As these web videos are hosted online, they are available on a 24/7 basis.
